Komorebi is a Japanese word that translates roughly to "light filtered through a tree canopy." Achieving this atmosphere was the goal for this library on a challenging triangular site in Northwest Los Angeles. The design is a structural glulam forest clad in glass and translucent fiberglass-reinforced balsa wood.
